I cannot say enough wonderful things about Carrie. We found Rainbow Ministries when our original plan to have a local officiant fell through.
We were on a short timeline and she accommodated us beautifully. From the first zoom meeting we felt like we’ve know her our whole lives and that we would be getting married by a friend rather than a complete stranger.
We had no idea what we were doing and were quite stressed about the legal portion. She walked us through the whole process and eased our worries.
Carrie created a BEAUTIFUL and touching wedding script for us and encouraged us to make any changes regarding nicknames, pronouns and general mood of the wording. She even called a few days prior to ensure she was pronouncing my fiancé’s name correctly.
Her warmth and genuine joy for us radiated during the ceremony making it even more special than we could have imagined. In fact, I cried the entire time. My (now) wife wqs joking that she would probably make mistakes while repeating back our vows, so Carrie broke her portion down into smaller sections to ensure she wouldn’t have any trouble.
She’s a true ally to the LGBTQ+ community, but I would encourage ALL couples of all faiths and sexuality’s to use Carrie as their officiant. She’s a warm safe soul and a gem of a human.
