LGBTQ workplace discrimination involves treating any employee unfavorably based on their actual or perceived sexual orientation or gender identity. For employees, this type of discrimination can lead to a mix of feelings, and affect a worker’s ability to do their job effectively. In some cases, LGBTQ discrimination has even resulted in physical violence.
